Bio-Emulsifier: I use a bio-emulsifier instead of a chemical emulsifier. An emulsifier is required to combine the oil and water.) The bio-emulsifier is non-toxic and biodegradable and can interact with biological systems without causing harm. The ingredients are plant based and come from the fatty oils from olives. Ingredients in bio-emulsifier: Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate. Cetearyl olivate – fatty substance of olive oil and cetyl alcohol (derived from coconut oil or palm oil). Sorbitan Olivate – fatty substance from olive oil and sorbitol (natural sugar alcohol). Shelf life 2 years. SDS (safety data sheet) available upon request.

The Preservative: Ingredients – Phenoxyethanol (organic compound that is an oily, colorless, water-soluble, biodegradable liquid). Caprylyl Glycol (derived from coconut and palm oils). Sorbic Acid (a naturally occurring food preservative)
